Marie-Anne, comes from the department of the Charente in the South West of France. She has lived in St Barth for 16 years, but she now lives in France. She spends a considerable amount of time painting landscapes and small "cases" (the small typical houses of Saint Barth). She now paints birds and flowers but continues her work on architectural aspect of the Island. Her paintings of roosters  are very popular. The surrounding sea is a great inspiration for her and her paintings reflect its ever changing mood.
